ABOUT
Doom metal band formed in İzmir in 2023, first as a Draconian tribute project playing "Under a Godless Veil" from end to end, then writing its own material and settling on the present name. Where doom usually splits clean and extreme vocals between two singers, both sides are carried by Senem Semiz alone, and the duality that runs through the lyrics comes from there. The "choir" is literal: nearly every song hosts a different guest vocalist, chosen for what the song needs — among them Aaron Stainthorpe (ex-My Dying Bride), Mattias Theuwen (Thurisaz, Ka'Una), Gogo Melone (Aeonian Sorrow), Nikos Vlachakis (Ocean of Grief), Eduardo (The Cross) and Frederic Simon (Lying Figures). "Enchanted Nocturne", recorded with Mattias Theuwen, was named the best metal song of 2025 by Surge Türkiye. The band describes what it does as modern melancholy, and collects it on a first album, "The Burden of Buried Tales".
